Crosscal is back

After almost two years, Crosscal is back in operation. Crosscal manipulates data which is freely available from various pages of the US Naval Observatory web site. The Observatory website was offline for an extended period from 24 October 2019 until 30 April 2020 Spring 2022.

Now that the USNO functionality has been restored with a new interface, Crosscal has been updated to reflect the changes and is fully functional again.

Crosscal

Astronomical Calendar Calculator

Crosscal will display a calendar of astronomical data for a calendar year at a chosen location within the United Kingdom. The location is specified by entering a postcode. You can choose to display the data, or else to generate a file to import into a calendar application such as Outlook or Palm Desktop.

Crosscal shows sunrise and sunset times, together with the times of twilight, moonrise and set, moon quarters and phase.
